February 24th, 1922, The Poultney Journal – The Town of Poultney was asked to compile some facts about itself for a publication, which the Delaware and Hudson Railway would then use in a book for its passengers. In response, the Chamber of Commerce at that time put together a long list of accomplishments and attractions of Poultney, “which should be emphasized by every Poultneyite.”
